Portland Rose Festival 2022
 
It’s that time again! The Portland Rose Festival’s 115-year legacy continues with a return to flora-celebrating outdoor events like the Grand Floral Parade, Starlight Parade, and Dragon Boat Races, plus a three-weekend CityFair with rides, music, and more.

Spring Rose Show

Touted as the largest and longest-running rose show in the country, the Portland Rose Society’s annual spring rose show is part of the Portland Rose Festival. Bike-In Movie Night and Comedy Show: Pride Edition

If you’re looking for a movie, some laughs, and kickass cuisine all in one verdant locale, look no further than this bike-in event at an urban farm in Cully. For Pride month, they’ll be screening Hedwig and the Angry Inch followed by stand-up sets from local queer funny folks Mx. Dahlia Belle, Scott II, Rachelle, and Chris Ettrick, hosted by Jenna Eliel and Quinne Salameh. Grilled Chicken Salad With BBQ-Mayo Dressing

INGREDIENTS:

  • 400 grams chicken breast fillet
  •  as needed Knorr Liquid Seasoning
  •  3 pcs plum tomatoes, sliced
  •  1 pc cucumber, sliced
  •  1 pc hard-boiled egg, sliced
  •  50 grams walnuts, toasted and chopped
  •  1 pack mixed greens
  •  1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  •  1/2 cup Lady’s Choice mayonnaise lite

PREPARATION

  1. Season chicken breast fillet with Knorr Liquid Seasoning then grill until cooked through.
  2. Mix Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise Lite with barbecue sauce then toss with mixed greens.
  3. Arrange greens on plate then top with tomatoes, cucumber, egg, walnuts, and the grilled chicken.
